Why have you sent me a LDoC notice?

Because the building in which your property is housed is one where your landlord is required to serve the notice under the Building Safety Act 2022 (the Act) and associated regulations, in specified circumstances.

Those circumstances are as follows:

• The building owner becomes aware that the that leaseholder is selling their property.
• The building owner becomes aware of a building safety defect which meets the definitions under the Act and associated regulations.
